The nation’s oldest peer-reviewed legal publication company U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers® listed The Terry Law Firm in its 2026 “Best Law Firms” rankings. The rankings identify professional excellence from among the nation’s most elite law firms.

Earlier this year, attorney F. Braxton “Brack” Terry was named Lawyer of the Year in the Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs category for Knoxville. Brack Terry and Denise S. Terry each received individual recognition in Best Lawyers® 2026 in the category of Personal Injury – Plaintiffs.

To be eligible for the “Best Law Firm” rankings, a law firm must have at least one attorney recognized in the current edition of Best Lawyers for a practice area and metropolitan area ranked in “Best Law Firms.” Organizers said the research team arrived at the rankings after analyzing 26 million evaluations of more than 129,000 lawyers from more than 24,000 firms.
